Students in Drafting and Design Technology may earn Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AutoDesk-Inventor, Revit Architecture, and MasterCam X9 industry certifications. Students in Commercial Digital Photography can earn Adobe Photoshop industry certification. This coursework offers real world application along with the opportunity to earn college credit through Advanced Placement classes. Qualified IIT students will be given the opportunity to add the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme, or the AP Capstone Diploma to their program beginning their junior year. Students who earn the IB Diploma or AP Capstone Diploma will qualify for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship.

There are no eligibility criteria for students entering the IIT program in the 9th grade. Prospective IIT students and their parents should carefully examine the program’s four-year plan prior to applying as the curriculum demands a high level of dedication and commitment.
