Eligibility Requirements
To participate in a Suncoast High School sport, students must:
- Have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Complete four NFHS online safety courses (Concussion, Heat Illness, Sportsmanship, & Sudden Cardiac Arrest).
- Submit the online 2025-2026 Athletic Eligibility Packet (via Aktivate.com).
- Pay the supplemental $75 Athletic Insurance Fee (School Cash Online Only).
Athletic eligibility packets must be submitted online via 'Aktivate'
Students interested in participating in high school sports must register all required forms (listed below) into the Aktivate system. The Aktivate system includes icon links to all required forms and courses. Parents are asked to follow all directions and prompts within the system in their entirety. Registration may begin immediately.
Forms, documents, and certifications required by student athletes to be digitally uploaded or electronically completed via Aktivate include:
- FHSAA EL2: Participation Physical
- FHSAA EL3: Consent and Release
- PBSD Form 1588HS: Athletic Eligibility for High School Students
- PBSD Form 1589HS: Medical Consent for Athletics
- PBSD Form 2608: Interscholastic Athletics Accident Insurance
- NFHS Course Certifications (4):
- Concussion for Students
- Heat Illness
- Sportsmanship
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Receipt of payment for the Athletics’ Insurance fee

Students may not participate in open workouts/conditioning, tryouts, practices, or competitions until they have a fully completed Athletic Eligibility Packet submitted on Aktivate and have been cleared by the Athletic Director (AD).
